Watching the reaction to Prime Minister Starmer this week reminded me of something I’ve believed for years. Leadership isn’t ultimately measured by the authority you possess, but by the willingness of others to follow. Titles can be granted overnight. Followership has to be earned continuously.
Without followers, there is no leader.
